Bio                                   

Jose Acevedo was born in Aguadilla,Puerto Rico. His passion for the performing arts started early in his life. At the age of 5, his family members started to call him "El Cantante" as he would perform wherever he could. His love for moving images started at the age of 7, when his dad bought him his first 8mm camera.

Once in high school, he joined the drama club and performed in a few school plays. He attended college at the University of Puerto Rico where he graduated with a B.A in Marketing.

After graduation, he joined the US NAVY to serve his country. He participated in Operation Enduring Freedom and in Operation Iraqi Freedom. During that time Jose travelled the world and visited 24 countries.

After 10 years in the NAVY, Jose decided to move to Los Angeles to pursue his childhood dream.

Jose is a member of the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists.
